INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT

Intensive training and facilitation are available to guide professionals through a self-discovery process revealing and realigning individuals with their CORE psychological needs, their preferred way of interacting and cognitive processes. This process will foster growth, help others achieve self-mastery, mindfulness, acceptance, and appreciation for those they interact with as well as unique gifts they offer.

Learn the framework of:

 

  • Interaction Styles - to integrate individual personal strengths for maximum results. This lens helps participants establish rapport and speak varying styles which greatly effect relationships of all kinds. ​

  • Essential Motivators - core psychological needs, values, talent, and purpose. Addresses needs so essential to existence that we go to great lengths to meet them.  Participants learn more about the roots of personality. This lens fosters a deep understanding of different perspectives, talent agendas, sources of conflict and stress which affect relationships of all kinds. 

 

  • Cognitive Dynamics- This lens helps participants learn how processes of reflection and discernment are dynamic and constantly developing. Individuals learn to appreciate and step outside natural personality patterns, bridge communication gaps and follow natural instincts for developing unexplored aspects of ourselves. This training provides insight into the richness of personality patterns and how these processes play out in both positive and challenging ways. ​

TRAUMA PROFESSIONALS, FIRST RESPONDERS, FRONT-LINE WORKERS, TEACHERS & CAREGIVERS

The cost of caring for and/or being exposed to the traumas of others can take an emotional and physical toll on professionals. It can manifest into various symptoms and lead to a negative impact on health, well-being, career, and view of the world.

In addition to the individual toll, a decade of research has demonstrated a pervasive set of negative effects on organizational capacity, culture, recruitment, retention, absenteeism and presenteeism. Levels of workplace stress have been increasing over the past decade and are expected to continue to escalate- along with the negative effects. It's critical that organizations approach this issue as a central operational concern.

Participants, (and ultimately, their respective organizations) receive compassionate, critical training in and development of strategies for professionals to build resilience, as well as the provision of resources and strategies to help organizations create their own vicarious trauma and resiliency tool kit, including:

  1. Definitions of vicarious trauma, empathic strain, burnout, and secondary traumatic stress and how effects of those can manifest in one's life and organization. 

  2. Experiential activities allowing professionals to consolidate what they have learned through hands-on learning. 

  3. Micro strategies that professionals can employ in their daily lives to contribute to resiliency. 

  4. Resources and strategies to help organizations create their own vicarious trauma and resiliency tool kit.
